RAVIND SANGHA ( Flute )
Ravind Sangha was born in Australia in 1969 and graduated from the Elder Conservatorium of Music with Honours. He received College Colours from St. Marks College The University of Adelaide. Sangha also holds a Masters degree from the University of Queensland where he taught until pursuing a career based in Amsterdam. At the age of sixteen Ravind Sangha was awarded the James Carsons Gold Flute Scholarship and later played as principal flute with the World Youth Orchestra. As an undergraduate he also played
as principal flute with the Queensland and South Australian Youth Orchestras as well as the Russian Ballet Orchestra and Latvian Festival Chamber Orchestra. He has been guest artist in several international festivals such as The London Early Music Festival(UK),The Utrecht Early Music Festival (Holland), La Folia Festival (Switzerland), ‘Un hivern in Mallorca’ Festival (Spain),The Woodford Music festival and the Darwin International Guitar Festival (Australia) and the Amsterdam Film Festival, where he conducted the Haags Kamer Ensemble in a live performance of the film score of the Swiss Film "Jeux d’Enfants". This was performed together with the film.
In 1996 Ravind Sangha was made custodian of a consort of priceless baroque instruments comprising of eight violins, three violas and two cellos made by John Godschall Johnson.
Ravind Sangha founded the Netherlands Baroque Orchestra in 2000 and co-directs the ensemble together with Guest Directors. He also performs in the orchestra as flutist and as concerto soloist. The ensemble performs regularly in concerts throughout Europe and has also appeared nationally on Dutch television and internationally through broadcasts on BBC television. Sangha plays historical flutes as member of the orchestra of the Domcantorij in Utrecht Holland. In 2005 Sangha was invited to perform solo for Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. Sangha has reciently been appointed conductor of the Orchestra of St. Simeon in Hamburg.
Sangha also performs extensively in the field of chamber music and has toured with Lucy van Dael.

MICHI KOMOTO BIOGRAPHY
Michi Komoto was born in Kobe, Japan, in 1973 and is a Graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane Australia with Honours as well as "Hochschule für Musik und Theater",in Hamburg Germany with the "Diplom für Klavier".
She began playing the piano at the age of four. At the age of only 17, she was awarded a full scholarship by the Lord Mayer of city Brisbane, which is the sister city of Kobe, to study at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. During her studies she was the first price winner of the "Minnie-May Bussey Scholarship" competition in Brisbane which helped her further studies and career in Germany.
She continued her studies in 1997 at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater" in Hamburg, Germany, with Prof. Conrad Hansen and Prof. Helena Rocha which she concluded in 2002 .
In 2003 she became accompanist for singers at the Hochschule. During her studies she took an active part in numerous master-courses held by Paul Badura-Skoda, Lev Vlassenko, Helena Costa, Vitaly Margulis and Bruno Leonard Gelber (Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival) among others.
In Germany Michi Komoto has performed for radio NDR Kultur and appeared on Arte television.
Now based in Hamburg Michi Komoto performs both as soloist and as a chamber music performer in Germany, Holland, Denmark, Japan and throughout Australia. As a soloist, she performed aboard the MV "Maxim Gorki" during an around the world cruise in 1999.
